JobReady is a service of The Vantage 360 Company Limited, a management consultancy registered in Nigeria (RC 1825672). When this policy says “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean The Vantage 360 Company Limited.
JobReady helps you prepare for job interviews using AI. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. What we collect
- Account data — your email address and, if you provide it, your full name.
- CV and job-description content — text you paste or upload so we can analyse and rewrite it.
- Interview transcripts — what you say or type during a mock interview, plus the AI interviewer's responses.
- Voice recordings — if you use voice mode, your spoken answers are transcribed in-browser and the text is stored; we do not retain the raw audio.
- Usage data — pages you visit, features you use, credits consumed, timestamps. Collected by our hosting and auth provider.
- Payment metadata — plan selected, transaction IDs. Full card details are handled by Stripe or Paystack; we never see or store them.
2. Why we collect it
- To provide the service you signed up for — analysis, rewrites, mock interviews, coaching reports.
- To process payments and apply credits to your account.
- To communicate with you about your account (transactional email).
- To send you marketing email only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
- To improve the product — aggregated, anonymised usage patterns only.
3. Lawful basis (UK/EU users)
We rely on contract (providing the service you requested), legitimate interests (improving the product, preventing fraud), and consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies).
4. Who we share data with (sub-processors)
We use the following third parties to run JobReady. Each has its own privacy policy and contractual data-protection terms with us.
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
- OpenAI and Anthropic — AI models that process your CV text, job description, and interview transcripts. They do not train on your data by default.
- ElevenLabs — text-to-speech for voice-mode interviews. Only the interviewer's generated text is sent; your voice is not.
- Stripe and Paystack — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional and (if you opt in) marketing email.
- Vercel — hosting.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK/EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data — for as long as your account is active.
- CV analyses, rewrites, interview transcripts, coaching reports — for as long as your account is active, or until you delete them.
- Inactive accounts — after 12 months of inactivity we may delete or anonymise your content. We will email you first.
- Payment records — 6 years (statutory accounting retention).
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your CVs, rewrites, interview transcripts, coaching reports, and your name and email. We retain a small set of anonymised records — payment history, credit ledger, and session metadata (timestamps, durations, no content) — for fraud prevention, abuse detection, and the statutory accounting retention period above. These records can no longer identify you.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent.
You can exercise most of these directly in your profile. For anything else, email privacy@jobreadyapp.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in (Supabase auth) and to process payments (Stripe, Paystack). We also set a short-lived first-party cookie (jr_ref) when you arrive via a referral link, so we can credit the referring user once you sign up; it expires within an hour and is cleared after sign-up. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes we will ask for your consent first.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside JobReady is limited to named engineers on a need-to-know basis. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.
9. Children
JobReady is not intended for anyone under 16. Do not create an account if you are under 16.
10. Changes
If we make material changes, we will email account holders and update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
